It's not CBS or NBC,
ABC or CNN that 's given us the
freedom of the press.
Not Jerry Falwell, Larry Flint, Ted Kennedy, or Jesse
giving us the freedom to verbally express.
Not the campus organizers, or all the demonstrations,
us the freedom to march, freely and disagree, oh can't you see.
It has always been the soldier. Who has made the sacrifice.
Standing strong and proud in battle.
Willing to lay down his life.
Somewhere there's a soldier, and he's looking at a picture
of his little
girl. How he wishes he were home.
And somewhere there's a soldier and he's reading a love letter
wife, and she's telling him how she feels so all alone.
And somewhere there's a mom and dad who cry late in the night,
for a son who won't be coming home. A son who gave his life,
freedom isn't free, oh can't you see.
It has always been the soldier. Who has made

It has always been the soldier on the land, in air and sea.
It's always been the soldier fighting
for our liberty.
Fighting for our liberty.
Oooo Oooo the soldier.
Until each one returns safe and sound,
let us pray a prayer for our troops, air, sea and on the ground.~
THEN GOD WOULD BLESS
.~ As seen on Cup of Cheer ~
It’s a phrase we all hear from time to time
an echo that never goes away.
“God Bless America” is often spoken
or whispered in the moments we pray.
Oh, it doesn’t take much of a look around
that America is in need of the Lord.
We’ve drifted so far...so much has been broken
much is needing restored.
But I wonder if the core of the problem could be
wording of the very simple phrase.
What if we started saying, “America,
and started seeking God in ALL of our ways!
What if we returned to our solid, Christian roots
because this country had a godly foundation!
What if God’s
people stood up against injustice
to bring the HONOR of God back to our nation!
What if we spoke the TRUTH about sin in God’s
with courage and fire in our voices!
Then we, as a country would return to God’s standards
call sin our personal choices.
And what if God's people truly humbled themselves
of our complacency and sin.
Then our brokenness would be answered with the
fire of REVIVAL
and God would bless America again!!!
